New Beginnings behavioral treatment programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of severely emotionally disturbed (SED) children, teens, and young adults. In addition we also have programs designed to serve severely mentally impaired (SMI) adults, families, and parents. Program services are tailored to promote the clients functioning in the family and community by offering more intensive levels of therapeutic guidance and support.

New Beginnings treatment services are supported by two rehabilitative mental health program components- Intensive Outpatient Therapeutic Services, and Residential Treatment services. The objectives of all program services are based on the principals of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Interventions and treatments are tailored to focus on patterns of thinking that are maladaptive and the beliefs that underlie such thinking. To meet client needs, our program services are provided in the areas of rehabilitative mental health, intensive psycho-therapy (individual, group, or family), anger management, parent training, as well as other supports such as speech therapy.

New Beginnings accepts many types of insurance carriers including Amerigroup, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Health Plan of Nevada (HPN), Humana-LifeSynch, Medicaid, and Teachers Health Trust. Please contact our office for any and all insurance questions.
